Heads Up Hold’em at Horizons Casino, Leicester Square
Take on the Dealer in Heads Up Hold’em, a poker-based table game where the aim is to make the best five-card poker hand. You and the Dealer each receive two pocket cards, and five community cards are used to form the best possible hand. There are no other players to read and no bluffing — you only have to beat the Dealer.
Our Heads Up Hold’em table is open daily from 11am until 6am, with an Ante from £5.
How to play
Start by placing equal Ante and Odds wagers. The optional Trips Plus, Pocket Bonus and Three-Card Progressive Jackpot bets may also be placed before the deal.
You and the Dealer each receive two pocket cards. Five community cards are dealt face down.
Pocket cards
After viewing your two pocket cards, you may:

- Raise 3x your Ante
The Flop
The first three community cards are revealed. If you have not already raised, you may:
- Check
- Raise 2x your Ante
Turn & River
The final two community cards are revealed, meaning all five community cards are now visible. If you have not already raised, you must:
- Raise 1x your Ante
- Fold
Only one Raise may be made during a hand. At showdown, the Dealer reveals their two pocket cards and the best five-card poker hands are compared. The Dealer qualifies with a Pair or better.
Main game
If you beat the Dealer and the Dealer qualifies
- Raise — pays 1 to 1
- Ante — pays 1 to 1
- Odds — pays according to your poker hand
If you beat the Dealer and the Dealer does not qualify
- Raise — pays 1 to 1
- Ante — push
- Odds — pays according to your poker hand

Three-Card Progressive Jackpot
The Progressive Jackpot is optional and is evaluated using your two pocket cards plus the first community card of the Flop. It remains live even if you fold. It is played as two separate wagers, £5 and £2, each with its own jackpot and its own pay table. This is the same three-card progressive that runs on Three Card Poker — the same jackpots are in play on both games.

Horizons Casino is at Queens House, 1 Leicester Place, Leicester Square — two minutes on foot from Leicester Square Tube station (Northern and Piccadilly lines). Entry is free for all guests aged 18 and over with valid photo ID, and membership is free to join.
